The side-loader garbage collection system was designed by OMB in 1981 and still represent the most popular product of the OMB Technology brand.
The main advantage of the side-loading collection system is the speed and standardization with which the cycle of taking, emptying and repositioning the dumpster can be completed.
Lateral solutions are characterized by their ease of use and the high level of convenience and comfort guaranteed to the personnel on duty: this system is also called a single-operator system because collection is fully automated and the service is carried out by a single operator (the driver of the vehicle) who can complete the process of emptying the bins from the comfort of the driver’s seat and in complete safety, for himself and for the people outside thanks to the presence of cameras and sensors.
