BTE Horizontal Ram Compactors are particularly suitable for compacting waste such as municipal solid waste, packaging waste (paper boxes, cardboard, cellophane), plastic materials (plastic bottles, light plastic boxes, industrial processing waste) and are characterized by robustness and reliability.
Compaction is accomplished by means of a horizontally moving shovel, like a drawer-hence the name-that pushes the waste toward the bottom of the compactor.
The sides, roof and bottom of BTE compactors are designed with a rounded shape to increase the rigidity of the structure to provide greater resistance to wear and tear.
The radiusing between the bottom and the sides and between the sides and the roof allows for smooth material flow during both loading and unloading, this allows for faster and easier emptying operations.
The hydraulic power unit is accessible from the outside to ensure ease of maintenance
