PSV stationary screw compactors compact using a screw mechanism which, rotating with a screwing motion, pushes the waste into a container and compacts it by compression of the waste itself, without any additional mechanical thrust.
Screw compacting systems are particularly suitable for bulky materials, packaging waste, cartons and pallets, production waste such as cardboard and fabric trimmings, and are characterised by great robustness, reliability, low maintenance and extreme quietness. They also guarantee a high compression ratio, shredding the materials before they are compacted inside the container.
BTE stationary balers are robust, with a compression chamber structure designed to withstand compaction forces of up to 700 kN.
