The story of a family, the story of a group
The story of our group is the story of the Busi family, a story of love for work, resourcefulness and vision.
It all started in 1991, when Giuseppe Busi founded the one-man company BTE, which designs, produces and markets products for waste collection, compaction and transport.
In the following years, the company rapidly developed organically through innovative production systems and internal organisation, but also thanks to a far-sighted acquisition policy.
In 2003, the Busi Group was officially founded.

BTE
For over 30 years the experts in solutions for compacting and transporting waste and raw materials.
B.T.E. Busi Tecnologie Ecologiche was founded in 1991 in Paitone, in the province of Brescia, and specialised in the production and marketing of products for waste collection, compaction and transport. BTE expanded over time with further plants in Pontevico (BS) and Orbassano (TO).
MEC
The intuition of robust hooklift and industrial trailers.
MEC was founded in 1966 in Mondovì, in the province of Cuneo, with the aim of building equipment for trucks. Sensing the evolution of the market, it immediately specialised in the construction of arms for loading scrap and bulk materials.
OMB
60 years of experience in waste collection, compaction and transport solutions.
The company is known for inventing the side-loading single-operator collection system and later for creating unique solutions in the waste collection system, always acting as a consultant at the customer’s side with a view to environmental protection.
